blog time baby.

soo here it is. the start of my blog. i wasn't really planning on making one, but alot of people asked me to, so, here it is!

the first entry of my big "road-trip". some of you guys have know exactly what i'm doing, others have a vague idea about whats going on, some of you guys are not even sure what the heck i'm doing at all right now. so here's a little layout.

a little more than a year ago, i was trying to figure out what i was going with my life. where i wanted to go to school, what i wanted to do for my career. if younglife was really where God wanted me to be. i was tired of school, tired of the burbs, and needed a change. so i decided i wanted to go on a missions trip. my plan was to take second semester off and go away for a few months and spend time in a third world country...things changed.

i ended up taking school off, but not going on a missions trip. i spent months researching different organizations, talking to pastors, youth leaders, random people, checking out website..but there was no trip out there that seemed to pull me in. in a way, everything seemed too structured for me, and i wasn't feeling that it was where God wanted me to be anymore. so now i was like, what the heck, i took off this semester, and i got an itch that needs to be scratched. i played around with a bunch of ideas..until a brilliant thought popped into my head. why not take a road trip? boom baby.

and so now i'm about a week away from a 4 week road trip that is gonna take me everywhere. here it is. i'm starting off in indiana for easter sunday. then i'm heading over to oxford, ohio to hang out with dan rice. from there i make my way to boone, nc for some chill time with kaity ruhland, adrienne biles, and pw gopal. down to savannah, ga with ben anderson. and then i make the lonngg trip to college station, tx to hang out with robert baldridge, brett davenport, and jacob fuller. moving right along to tempe, az where i'm gonna see nick moore, amy northrup, and jamie leigh. from there i'm hitting up my boy tyler tomlinson in the hood of burbank! now here comes the cali drive up the coast. my good friend kailey vanderbaan will be in santa barbara. and i'm still trying to work chico into budget too! from there i'm gonna go see my buddy jim rabun in vail, co. then to manhattan, ks and lawrence, ks to see katie hawkes, sarah weaver, mike lavieri, and a whole list of other people!

so that's the break down. its def subject to change throughout the trip, but who knows what'll happen! and most people would say, are you stopping at all to see things? or sights? or anything!? yupp. i'm stopping every once in a while to see things, but that's not really the main focus of the trip. it's more to be on the road, driving by myself, and seeing a bunch of people who i think are awesome!
